Summer Palace, Beijing, China

Just on the outskirts of Beijing, the Summer Palace is a beautiful place to explore for a day.

We visited the summer palace outside of Beijing. We only had half a day here, which wasn't really enough time, given the scale of the site. It was constructed in 1750 by Qianlong and Ci Xi. There are over 3000 halls, pavillions, towers, and courtyards, and a huge lake.

The Long Corridor is 750M long and has over 14,000 pictures painted along the ceiling.

On the way back from the Summer Palace, we saw these strangely shaped buildings. Can anyone help us identify them?
