We took the 'bus' south to Can Tho, to see the floating market. We're sure it used to be a bus in the 1960's.

We visited Can Tho in the Mekong Delta. The boats you see here are the same as the one we were on, and are the main method of getting around the floating market and the canals. The vegetables attached to the pole in the background show what produce is available from this boat - the 'daily catch'. Our tour guide was either honestly impressed with Wendy's efforts, or was just glad to take a break from rowing around the big fat Canadians.
