Manuel Antonio is a beautiful beach we visited, and it was gloriously free of all commercial establishments.

This is the main beach inside the national park at Manuel Antonio. It was gloriously free of all commercial establishments. The capuchin monkeys are everywhere and will follow you right down onto the beach. Fortunately, the humans have now been sufficiently trained not to feed them, so they do not actually harass the public any more. We hiked around a small peninsula and got a nice view. Of course, it didn't seem that small on a hot, humid day. We took a tiny Cessna on to Corcovado. It was actually a very smooth ride, and not half as scary as we thought!
