We visited Columbia State Historic Park, close to Sonora, and were a little bit disappointed by the commercialization of it.

We visited the Columbia State Historic Park. It's more of a Disney-like tourist attraction, with almost every store trying to sell something. Here, there are horse & buggy rides available, outside the Wells Fargo & Co. Express Building.

City Hotel. None of it felt very authentic, unlike Bodie, which we'd visited a year previous.
