We visited the Pyramids of Giza outside of Cairo. Here is the must-have photo of the three pyramids all lined up. The cloest pyramid is the Great Pyramid, or Khufu's Pyramid. Immediately behind it is the Pyramid of Khafre, followed by the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure. The Avenue of the Pyramids leads down from the Plateau to the Sphinx. The back side of the Great Pyramid. The Pyramid of Khafre sits behind Khufu's Pyramid. The Great Pyramid Beside the Great Pyramid is the Solar Barque Museum, which houses the boats found in the Boat Pits. These boats were intended to have been used to transport Khufu's body and all his possessions to the after-life. The Giza Plateau overlooks Cairo.
