Unfortunately, we spent most of our time in Kuala Lumpur holed up in our hotel room waiting to get rid of our souvenir from the Perhentian Islands. We did make it out one day though and visited a few of the sights.

Unfortunately, we spent most of our time in Kuala Lumpur holed up in our hotel room waiting to get rid of our souvenir from the Perhentian Islands. We did make it out one day though and visited a few of the sights. Right around the corner from the bus station and our hotel, this is the Ganesha Temple.

There is a huge covered market on Petaling Street. This is where the big night market is. You want a cheap watch? They have good prices, my friend!

We went shopping in the Central Market, a huge multi-level bazaar. We bought a wild looking traditional kite.

There was a batik demonstration on the lower floor.

Fresh sugar cane juice. These people have a seriously sweet tooth.

Despite Wendy's sickness, on our last day we managed to make the obligatory visit to the Petronas Twin Towers. They only allow you up to the skywalk between the towers half way up the building.
