>> Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid
We took a trip to Wahiba Sands, the closest accessible sand dunes to Muscat.
Our guide. We travelled to Wahbia Sands with Sunny Day Travels Oman.
Climbing the dunes. In all honesty, they weren't quite as red as this, but this looks cool.
A bedouin settlement in the desert.
Dune Bashing with Sunny Day Tours, Oman. The dune bashing was not on the same par as what we did in UAE (Abu Dhabi). The Mitsu had far less power and the driver took fewer risks. Maybe the sand was softer and didn't permit the same kind of driving.
One of the other cars in our group managed to get stuck.

After the too-short trip to the dunes, we went to Wadi Bani Khalid.
