Next we headed for the Folkemuseum.  It's a huge outdoor museum with buildings of different ages that have been brought together from all over Norway.  The stuff you see sticking out from under the sod on the roof is birch bark, which makes the roof waterproof.  The sod is insulation.  This type of roofing is still in use and we saw it elsewhere.  The fuzzy person is Heidi, our tour guide for the morning.
