We drove from Serondela to Victoria Falls. We stayed at the Kingdom Hotel, which is a very posh hotel right downtown.

We drove from Serondela to Victoria Falls. We stayed at the Kingdom Hotel, which is a very posh hotel right downtown. There were armed guards outside the hotel. We were lucky to be there at a time of year where the spray isn't too bad - during the rainy season, it's not uncommon that people can't even see the falls themselves. Although it's really hard to convey the beauty in photos, Victoria Falls really makes Niagara look like a leaky faucet. That's us on the right. Zimbabwe has really made an effort to preserve the natural beauty around the falls. The entire area is a national park, and so not only are there no buildings, but even the paths are made of natural materials, including thorny bushes for the fence.
