The beginning of the Indian RiverWe arranged for a guide to take us up the Indian River. The Indian River is a river that empties into the ocean at the heart of Portsmouth, and rowboats and guides will take you up the river to a “Jungle Bar” where some delicious rum punch

A 5 minute walk from Wat Pho got us to a boat which took us across the river to Wat Arun. The river isn’t that picturesque, but taking the boat is fast and cheap (I think it was a dime).…
