We took a weekend road trip to Disneyland, California with some friends.

In Fremont, just before leaving. It took us 9 hours to get there, thanks to nasty Bay Area and LA traffic. There was a traffic jam (volume) at 12:15 AM in LA!! Thanks to Shirley for all these digital photos. At the front gates. Luckily the line-ups were short all day. The castle is much smaller than Florida's, but impressive nonetheless. Tough guy. Toontown. Unfortunately, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, It's a Small World, and the Carousel were all closed the day we were there. It doesn't always pay to go off-season... What trip is complete without a ride on the spinning teacups??? On the way back, the A/C of our brand new Passat conked out. Here are the engineers staring blankly at it, hoping that would help. It did! Uhhh.. isn't that where the windshield fluid goes??
