Ten Years Young! Number Five on our Top Ten Ancient Sites

In old age people tend to forget things.  And so it is that here at www.IanAndWendy.com we suddenly woke up and realized we had missed our tenth birthday!  That’s right – August 31st 2009 marked TEN WHOLE YEARS of www.IanAndWendy.com!

So, in celebration of the tenth anniversary of www.IanAndWendy.com we’ve compiled a list of 10 of our favorite old sights.  Number five:

–  Constructed by Herod just over 2,000 years ago, the Western Wall draws thousands of worshipers who leave prayers on little scraps of paper shoved in between the giant stone blocks.  To truly take a step back in time, though, take the Underground Wall Tour.  You’ll climb down below the level of modern-day Jerusalem and walk along the original road now buried beneath the city above.
