Ten Years Young! Number Ten on our Top Ten Ancient Sites

In old age people tend to forget things.  And so it is that here at www.IanAndWendy.com we suddenly woke up and realized we had missed our tenth birthday!  That’s right – August 31st 2009 marked TEN WHOLE YEARS of www.IanAndWendy.com! 

So, in celebration of the tenth anniversary of www.IanAndWendy.com we’ve compiled a list of 10 of our favorite old sights.  Number 10:

10)Grotte de Font-de-Gaume at Les Eyzies, France – For truly old, nothing beats the interior decorating in some inauspicious looking caves in the south of France.  Step inside and you’ll be treated to a decorative paint treatment some 14,000- years-old.  Reindeer,buffalo and a human hand are amongst the images still vivid after all these years.
